
Three people were treated at the hospital of Governor Juan F. Luis for stabbing and other injuries on Friday, including a man who was allegedly the perpetrator of the first two stab wounds, according to the VI Police Department. .
In a press release on Tuesday, police said on February 5 that the 911 emergency call center sent officers to hospital after receiving a report of admitting stabbed victims.
At approximately 6:38 p.m., a male victim was taken to the emergency room in a private vehicle with stab wounds to the right shoulder and right side of the chest. The driver of the vehicle reported that he walked out of Allyne’s Variety Store at Estate Diamond Ruby and found the injured victim outside the store.
At 8:32 p.m., another stabbed victim arrived at the emergency room with stab wounds to the right forearm, right side of the chest and left shoulder. He said he was assaulted at the same location as the first victim. He told police he tried to calm the suspect down when he was attacked.
The suspect, whose name was withheld by police, was later assaulted by passers-by and witnesses after he allegedly stabbed the two previous victims. He suffered multiple bruises and stab wounds and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
