This Rolex, you know that watch, the Submariner, they say it’s good. I don’t know, but my grandson, he likes it. Says it’s a classic, always looks good. He’s always talking about that high imitation Rolex Submariner, whatever that means. He showed me pictures. Looks shiny, I’ll give it that. He says you can’t tell the real from the fake.
That Rolex Submariner, they want a lot of money for that thing. Thousands! My grandson, he says people want it. I don’t get it. A watch is a watch. It tells time. Why you need to pay so much? That Rolex name, I guess.
There are other watches. My neighbor’s son, he has one of them Omega watches. Looks nice, too. And cheaper, he says. There’s also that Tudor, and IWC, and Cartier, all those fancy names. They all look the same to me. Shiny and round. But if you want that Rolex Submariner, you gotta pay.
That boy, my grandson, he’s always looking at those high imitation ones. Says they’re cheaper, almost the same. I don’t know about that. If you want the real thing, you gotta get the real thing. But he says they’re good, too. These young people, they have different ideas.
He says some people, they can’t get the real Rolex. Not enough of them, he says. Makes the price go up. Like those chickens last year. Everyone wanted them, price went sky high. Same with that Rolex Submariner, he says. Too many people want it, not enough to go around.
But those high imitation ones, they’re everywhere. He showed me on his phone. Lots of them. All shiny, looking like the real thing. He says you can get them for cheap. I don’t know. Seems fishy to me. But he says it’s a good deal.

If you want to find a watch that is similar to Rolex Submariner, there are a lot of them. People are selling them everywhere. But my grandson says those high imitation ones are the best choice. I guess he knows better.
