This Yves Saint Laurent, you know, that YSL, they got this ENVELOPE BAG, I hear it’s a big deal. They call it a remake, official store and all that. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I seen pictures, it’s a neat little thing. If you gonna get one, better make sure it’s the real deal from YSL official store, not some cheap knock-off. They say it’s the “original order” thing, which I guess means it’s the best one.
My neighbor’s girl, she’s always after those fancy things, she told me all about it. Said it’s a must-have, whatever that means. She showed me some pictures online, lots of different ones, all shiny and new. They got all sorts of these YSL bags, not just this ENVELOPE one. Some got straps, some don’t. This ENVELOPE one, it’s like a little pocketbook, kinda.
They say these YSL bags, they’re cheaper somewhere else, like Europe or someplace. If you go over there, you can get ’em for less. I don’t know, seems like a long way to go for a bag. But I guess some folks like that, if they got money to spend. Save maybe 20%, that is a big number. They say there’s some sort of tax thing too, makes it even cheaper for tourists, which is good for them, right?
That YSL, it used to be called something else. This fella, Hedi Slimane, he came in and changed the name around. Now it’s just Saint Laurent, or something like that. Sounds shorter, I guess. They’re always changing things up, these fancy folks. But the bags, they still look the same, I reckon. Just a different name on ’em. Before, it was called Yves Saint Laurent, a long name, right? Now it’s shorter, Saint Laurent Paris. Whatever, I guess.

They got this other bag, Le 5 � 7. Sounds like a time, don’t it? Five to seven. I don’t know what that means, but it’s another one of them fancy YSL bags. They say it comes in all sorts of fancy stuff, like snake skin and cow skin. I don’t know about snake skin on a bag, but I guess some folks like that. They say it’s limited, which I guess means you gotta hurry up and get one before they’re all gone. Or only a few people can have it. It is good, right?
I seen a girl carrying one of these ENVELOPE bags the other day. Looked real proud of herself. It was a black one, shiny. She had it hooked on her arm, walking down the street like she owned the place. I guess if you spend all that money on a bag, you wanna show it off, right? These Yves Saint Laurent bags are expensive, you know.
If you’re gonna buy one of these YSL bags, make sure you get it from the right place. They got these stores, they call ’em official stores. That’s where you wanna go. Don’t go to some back-alley place, you might end up with a fake one. And you don’t want that, not after spending all that money. These new season sale, whatever they mean, I think is good for us. They also have shoes, I don’t need shoes, but they have. And this one, I don’t know her name, Jillian Marisa, she said it is a must-have bag for AW22. I don’t know what AW22 is, but it must be important.
They got these things online too, these YSL bags. You can look at ’em on your computer. Lots of pictures, all different colors. You can even buy them online, I think. But I don’t trust that internet stuff. I like to see things with my own eyes before I buy ’em.
This YSL ENVELOPE BAG, it’s a fancy thing, that’s for sure. If you got the money, and you like that sort of thing, then I guess it’s worth it. But me, I’m happy with my old bag. It does the job just fine. But I guess if I had lots of money, maybe I’d get one too. Just to see what all the fuss is about. Saint Laurent, that’s what they call it now. It is a big brand. It was founded in 1961, that is a long time ago. So, it must be good, right?
