Okay, so I decided to grab a CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Super Racing. First, I went online, looking everywhere. I mean, I scoured the internet, checking out all the usual spots.
Shopping Around
I landed on Shopee Singapore, thinking, “Why not?”. They have everything, right? So, I browsed through their listings. They have this “Shopee Mall” thing, which is supposed to be all legit, 100% authentic stuff with free shipping and returns. Sounds good on paper, but I’ve been burned before, you know? Still, I checked out their seller center and even looked into how to sell on Shopee myself, just out of curiosity.
Then I moved on to motorcycle websites. Yeah, I know, it’s a watch, not a bike, but sometimes you find interesting stuff in unexpected places. I was thinking maybe I could find some accessories or related gadgets. I read through some forums, saw a discussion about someone’s first experience buying a motorcycle, which got me thinking about my own first big purchase.
Looking into alternatives
After that, I hit up the POPULAR Bookstore website. They have a bit of everything, not just books. I browsed through their electronics and stuff, just to see what they had. No luck on the watch, but I did find some interesting accessories.
Next, I checked out a site called G2G. They deal with games mostly. I logged in, typed “NBA 2K25” into the search bar, just to see what would pop up, and browsed through the different purchase options they had. I didn’t buy anything.
Tried my luck on some sites about buying gold online and such. Reddit had some threads on it, talking about the risks of getting banned in games for buying in-game currency. Pretty interesting stuff, but not really what I was after. There’s this one place, LuckyCharmGold, that a lot of people seemed to recommend. They even had a guide on avoiding bans. But again, not what I needed.
I even stumbled upon some random office solutions website. Don’t ask me how I got there. It was just one of those internet rabbit holes, I guess.
Finally
And lastly, I ended up on *. I usually go there for cheap game keys. They have a massive selection and good prices. I didn’t find the watch there either, but I did grab a couple of games while I was at it.
So, yeah, that’s pretty much how my search went. A bit all over the place, I know, but that’s how I roll.
After all of that search, I decided to go another way to get it.
I’m going to share how I got the watch in my next post.
