Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a really nice watch for a while now, and I finally did it. I was browsing around, and this Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar caught my eye. It looked amazing, so I started digging in.
First, I checked out a bunch of online stores. I wanted to make sure I was getting a good deal and, you know, not some knock-off. I found a place that had a certified pre-owned one, which was perfect because I’m not made of money. It was in near-mint condition, so it’s basically like new, but a bit cheaper. Score!
The Size
- The watch’s case is about 39mm across, which is a pretty standard size, I guess. Not too big, not too small.
- It is also pretty thin. I saw somewhere that it is around 9.4mm thick. That made it a good choice for me.
- It’s 45.7mm from lug to lug. I think this means the measurement from where the strap attaches at the top to where it attaches at the bottom. I had to look that one up.
Look and Feel
- The case has this polished finish, which is super shiny and looks really classy. The top, the lugs, and the back, all shiny.
- I think 40mm and 10.95mm thick is the size of a different version, but mine is the 39mm one.
I went ahead and bought it from the online store. The whole process was smooth. They had good pictures and all the details listed, so I felt pretty confident about it. When it arrived, I was so excited! It looked even better in person. The stainless steel is really sleek, and it feels great on my wrist. It is not too heavy, but it’s got some weight to it, so you know it’s quality. I have been wearing it almost every day, and I always get compliments. People are always asking me about it.
