Well, well, well, look what we got here. A fancy watch, they call it Imitation Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Reverso Tribute Chronograph. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? They say it’s for “specialty stores.” What in tarnation does that even mean? Sounds like somethin’ only them rich folks would understand.

This here watch, it ain’t your everyday kinda watch. Nope. It’s all shiny and… rectangular. Yeah, you heard me right. Not round like the ones my old man used to wear. This one’s got straight edges, like a little tiny picture frame you strap to your wrist. I reckon it’s supposed to be fancy. They call it Stainless Steel. Whatever that is, it sure is shiny.

They say it’s for “mature” people. Mature, huh? Guess that means old as dirt, like me. But then they say, “not old.” Well, which is it, you young whippersnappers? Make up your minds! Can’t be both, can it? I’ve seen enough seasons to know that much.

  • Supposed to be a sports watch, but from way back in 1931. That’s even before my time!

Places with bright lights and shiny floors. Not like the general store back home. We just got what we need there, not all this fluff.

This one fella said it’s a watch for “mature people,” then he goes on sayin’ you can wear it with jeans. Now, I ain’t no fashion expert, but I know what I like. I reckon if you got the money, and you like fancy things, then maybe this is the watch for you. But for me, I’ll stick to my old trusty timepiece. It may not be fancy, but it gets the job done. And that’s all that matters, ain’t it? I don’t need no Imitation JLC Reverso to tell me what time it is.
